Water Update: On Thursday afternoon, Mayes County RWD9 experienced a catastrophic blow out of a 8” water line the provides water to our customers on the north end of the system. As a result of this blow out, we lost two booster pumps needed to augment water pressure mainly to customers who live north of Kenwood Road. We’ve implemented a temporary diesel powered pump to help with the situation while we await new pumps and parts. Unfortunately, we cannot pump the volume of water that we could with the normal pumps, but all customers should have some water. We ask that customers north of Kenwood Road try to conserve water until we can get this issue completely rectified. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to restore our normal service.
